A small seawater desalination system using a 1 kW high-pressure pump and a 0.37 kW self-priming feed pump. The high-pressure pump has a DC motor, so the starting current does not exceed 1 kW. This allows the pump to be started on most power supplies and solar systems.
The unit is manufactured from 316 and 304 grade stainless steel.
