- Kayaks to explore Bahia Honda and the cathedral roof mangroves and/or paddle between the islands to discover the National Marine Park with its numerous mangrove islands and coral atolls, and along the way see numerous starfish varieties enjoying the ebb and flow of local ocean currents.
- Our freshwater swimming pool is a perfect place to stay cool during the day, but it becomes somewhat epic under clear skies and a perfect venue to observe the lightshow antics of fireflies in the surrounding forest.
- Our gardens seem to get more beautiful every day as we plant new species and learn by trial and error about what works and what doesn't. Noisy parakeets and other birds are increasing in numbers as we plant more fruit trees, and so is the butterfly number. There always seems to be something to see: sloths, Jesus Christ lizards, caimans, and lots of geckos and dragonflies. We love to just wander and just sit and take time out in nature. A favourite for us is just sitting on one of the docks and watching the fish graze. Now and again you may hear rays flapping their wings to stun their prey, and there is a mother and baby nurse shark who cruise past most days. Cow rays pass by in hunting herds, and other baby rays flip-flop their way through the mangrove roots.

Most people, when they say mangroves", will be from a boat; with our boardwalk, you get inside the mangrove to see the trees, animals, and plants. These are critically important ecosystems responsible for sequestering 10% of the world's carbon dioxide. They are also incredibly beautiful and tranquil places.
Treenet
The TreeNet is a truly unique experience. Most people see trees from the ground up; we take you 60 feet up into the canopy so you can see from the top down. There are unique animals and plants in the canopy. You also have a nice breeze, and it's a great place to network or just hang out for any afternoon and watch the sloths creep past.
