Seahorse Point Nature Reserve is now open for booked visits and for guests staying with us.
Come for a visit
Walk the mangrove boardwalk, look for sloths, climb the tree net and explore a botanic garden of over 200 named plants, then finish with coffee at the Seagrass Café.
Choose a self-guided day pass or a full guided tour, both from one person. We are open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for booked visitors, and on Sundays by appointment, so for Sundays please message us on WhatsApp or by email. Tours run from 10am to 3pm, and dates are open online about sixteen weeks ahead.
Boat transport is included with day passes and tours, but not for café-only visits. The boat picks you up at 10am from the Bocas Docks, 10:15am from the Old Bank municipal dock and 10:30am from Red Frog, and brings you back at 3pm. The full pick-up details are on our Visits page.
You are welcome at the Seagrass Café without a day pass. It closes at 4pm, unless there is a special event.
Come and stay
Rooms are half board and booked per person. Stays are two nights or more, any night of the week. Rates are per person sharing, and a room to yourself costs more. ITBMS tax is added to the room rates. Your stay includes breakfast and dinner, the boat from Bocas Docks and full access to the reserve: the self-guided trails, the tree net, the kayaks and the pool, which is for staying guests only.
How to book
Book a visit on our Visits page, or a room on our rooms page. Visits are paid by credit card when you book online, and on site we accept cash only. You can also message us on WhatsApp at +507 6741 7104 or email nature@seahorsepoint.org.
There is no mobile phone reception at our location, but the main area by the café has wifi. Please confirm your pick-up point or arrival time with us on WhatsApp before you travel.
We look forward to welcoming you.
