Climate disruption isn't just about carbon; in fact, it is the least of our environmental problems.
The loss of ecosystems, nature and the life support system for the planet is critical, and time is rapidly running out to try and reverse the tipping points.
We have already destroyed around 75% of all life on earth since 1970 and probably close to 95% since 1900. Over the next 10 to 20 years it will be close to 100% on land and in the world's oceans.
I don't think it is fully appreciated that we cannot survive on this planet without nature.
We can still fix the ecosystems, but there seems to be no sense of urgency. For most people there does not appear to be any problem; however, as the trophic cascade reactions kick in, the system will collapse very rapidly, maybe even over the course of one or two years.
Everything will appear okay, and then it will not....
