It is remarkable that few people realize that 70% of all wildlife on earth has gone, that man and farm animals represents 94%+ of all mammals, that more than 50% of life in the Oceans, the life support system for the planet, is gone and is dying off at 1% per year. Over the next 20 years due to pollution and ocean acidification, there will be a trophic cascade collapse and everything comes down.
We talk about climate change and keeping below 1.5 deg C, this is a joke, and smoke screen. Climate change will be a walk in the park in comparison to what’s going to happen if we do not change our behaviour.
Remarkably though….there may still be time to stop the process by the elimination of pollution, especially toxic for ever chemicals, microplastic and partially combusted carbon. The regeneration of nature is also our best hope to stop climate change, carbon dioxide is only a small part of the process.
