DESCRIPTION:This October\, the GOES Foundation and Seahorse Point Nature Reserve are training the next generation of jungle guides — deep in the rainforests of Bastimentos Island\, Bocas del Toro\, Panama. \n\n\n\nOver nine immersive days\, participants move from the classroom to real expedition terrain across rainforest\, coast\, and marine ecosystems — and graduate with two internationally recognised certifications: Certified Jungle Guide and Wilderness First Aid\, endorsed by the International Association of Jungle Guides. \n\n\n\nWhat you'll build:🧭 Expedition planning\, navigation\, and risk management🚑 Wilderness first aid and emergency response🌴 Tropical ecology\, environmental interpretation\, and bio-cultural learning🐒 Group leadership\, client care\, and responsible guiding ethics \n\n\n\nThis first course is delivered in Spanish\, built for local guides serving the international market — raising professional standards while strengthening livelihoods. Future courses will run in both English and Spanish.
