The presentation on coral structures is followed by a hands-on clay session with Louis. \nYou will learn about the clay and leafcutter ants and how to prepare the clay. You will then move into our studio to start work on your model under the guidance of Louis. \nYou will be able to take your sculpture home if you are very careful\, because the air-dried clay is very delicate\, or you can choose to leave it at Seahorse Point and collect it on your next visit. We can fire your sculpture in a carbon kiln; this will give you a much stronger sculpture\, but there is also the risk it will break.
