Itinerary & Logistics

Departure: 10 am from Bocas Docks, 10:20 am from Red Frog

Marine Science: Gain insights into coral reef ecosystems with an introduction by marine biologist Till Deus.

Clay Sculpting: Create your own coral structure using leaf-cutter clay under the guidance of Luis Hiemstra. You may take your work home or leave it to be fired and planted in the reef—a method proven to boost coral production by up to 25x.

Guided Exploration: Snorkel or kayak the reef with local experts. An electric boat option is available for those who prefer not to paddle.

The trail is primarily flat and easy to navigate, with 50% of the path featuring a stable gravel surface. The "wild" section of the trail remains level but may become slippery during heavy rainfall; we recommend sturdy footwear for the best experience. Guests can also unwind at the Treenet, a perfect location for relaxation and quiet reflection.
