Nature and Biodiversity, we cant live without it…

Protecting nature and eliminating pollution are not only necessary to save the planet but also make good business sense.

Green chemistry and product revolution—make it happen now

According to experts, we have only 10 years to address these issues before it’s too late. Despite technical advancements, we must remember that we are still part of nature and need to coexist peacefully with the environment. Sadly, industry continues to produce toxic chemicals and substances that harm the planet. It’s time to support nature and protect ecosystems on land and marine life in the oceans.

Did you know that “toxic-forever” chemicals have been gradually increasing in
concentration over the last 70 years, killing nature at a rate of 1% per year.
year? More than 50% of nature is gone; the destruction is increasing, and in 20 years, 90% will be gone. You don’t need to be a mathematician to figure out what’s going to happen.

Herbicides, pesticides, PCBs, PBDE, and molecular plastics are part of 14,000 toxic chemicals that do not go away but just gradually increase in concentration. Their impact gradually increases, and now they are killing us. Pollution kills more humans than everything else combined, and in 10 years it may be 10 times more. Health services are going to collapse within 10 years. https://lnkd.in/dfi9w5DU

Industries must examine its practises carefully and use green engineering
to create a non-toxic version of the same product. We must eliminate industrial
pollution. To not pollute and destroy the environment, must become
prerequisite to being in business, and governments must do the same.

There are always safe choices and decisions that can be made, such as mineral sunscreens as opposed to toxic filters with Oxybenzone, less toxic pharmaceuticals, and less toxic car tyres (electric cars cause more pollution than gasoline combustion). 80% of the world has no effluent treatment, but waste is a resource that can be used to make money and stop pollution at the same time. Why do we not do these things?

Textiles cause 10% of the world’s pollution. I personally spent five years in Bangladesh developing a zero-impact effluent treatment plant. It was twice as expensive as a normal system, but it had an ROI in under 3 years. It makes good business sense to recycle and recover with zero impact or discharge.

Industry must become non-toxic because the planet is not sustainable. We need to solve these problems over the next 10 years, or it is going to get very ugly. Climate change will be a walk-in the park in comparison to the loss of nature

The planet is not sustainable, so it is going to break, so let’s take the initiative now and protect nature, because if we don’t, nature will rebalance the planet.

90% of nature gone = 90% of humanity gone in 20 to 30 years.
