6 °C temperature increase in parts of the North Sea

This is going to reduce oxygen tension and redox potential, increase biological activity, reduce alkalinity, cause all organisms serious stress, and set up a cascade of destabilisation of the system.

I would not be surprised if this turned into a dead zone or bloom of toxic dinoflagellate algae and cyanobacteria. This will also result in mass fish mortality.

The Gulf Stream has slowed down by 20% or more, temperatures have increased, El Nino is kicking in, and record temperatures have been recorded on the eastern coast of the USA.

Coccolithophores and diatoms are dying, the ocean surface microlayer is disappearing, the water vapour pressure of the atmosphere will increase, and cloud formation will decrease. Water vapour is 75% of all greenhouse gases. As atmospheric temperature increases, this is another self-reinforcing feedback loop. Cloud formation will decline, as will rainfall.

The North Sea biological systems are going to collapse, possibly this year. The Mediterranean has gone down, as has the Marmaris Sea. The Aegean Sea, Bearing Sea, and high latitudes in the Southern Ocean are collapsing, and 25% HNLC dead zones are rapidly spreading.

Should you be scared? stupid question, all life depends on the Ocean and they are rapidly going down the tube
